Home Care Services
Most home care is informal with families and friends providing a substantial amount of support and care. For formal care MPHCC provides a comprehensive service through Registered Sisters for specialised nursing procedures and home based trained Care Workers for the daily non medical, general, basic needs of a patient/person. Our care services are extensions to those of the medical and or other practitioners as well as that of the family, and therefore we form part of a team to ensure total care for every individual.
We provide all basic care, specialised nursing procedures and processes to promote optimum health care and relief in the community, as well as promoting the prevention of disease and possible complications where and when possible by providing the highest standard of care.
At MPHCC we strongly believe that Home Care is not only for the patient, but for the family as a whole. We therefore structure our services in such a way that it complements and takes into consideration the existing care, procedures, routines and responsibilities of all involved.
